ABOUT ZEPHYROS
After a successful career of 22 years in public utilities and the wind farm development industry I decided to start my own consultancy firm in December 2008. Zephyros, the Greek God of the West Wind was chosen as name representing the roots of this company in Wind Farm Development.

Being a very young company I endeavour to provide first class development and engineering services at competitive prices and with a very fast turnaround. I understand the needs of a developer, an investor or a permitting authority and position myself as an independent expert boosting YOUR in-house development capabilities or providing a different view using my long experience in taking risks and executing projects.

Here is a brief outline of my background:

1980-1986            University in Germany, Masters Degree in electrical engineering
1986-1989            Network Planning Engineer and IT Manager for a regional utility in Germany
1989-1996            Vice President Operations & Construction for a branch office of this utility
1996-2000            CEO (Technical) of a municipal utility in Southern Germany (Electricity,                                 Gas, Water, Public Transport, Shipping)
2000-2001            VP Business Development, ABB Utility Solutions, Switzerland
2001-2003            VP Marketing, Sales and Technology, ABB Wind Energy, Switzerland/Germany
2003-2004            Director Business Development Global Renewable Energy Partners, Australia
2004-2006            Chief Technical Officer, Energreen Wind, Australia
2006-2008            Technical Director Wind Energy, Allco Finance Group, Australia
2008-present        Principal and Owner of Zephyros Consulting
