Wind Farms are comparatively large structures and have the potential to alter the landscape especially in rural communities. Residents and businesses in these communities are always impacted by the development whether positively, neutral or negatively.
It is therefore important to liaise with the local community and keep the local residents and businesses informed about what you're planning, asking them for their views and inputs and making them a part of the project rather than confronting them with it.
We've done a lot of such consultation days and the experience was usually very positive with attendants appreciating the ability to talk and discuss the project in a more private atmosphere of an information room open for a couple of days to come in and have a chat.
Zephyros Consulting offers to arrange and run such community consultation days including the preparation of information material such as
flyers,
brochures
posters
audio-visual material.
Good information is the key to success and for the comparatively small costs of such information days you may get a much more positive response in the community.
