A major part of my design work is finding an optimum layout not just for wind turbines but also for roads and cables. Drawing from our experience as network planner, operator and construction manager in the utility industry we develop high level layouts for:
- Access Roads and internal tracks
- electrical Distribution network (cable/overhead)
- Substation single line diagram
- Operations & Maintenance Building principal layout.
Using a combination of sophisticated Mapping Design Software and detailed local site inspections we develop something useful and practical for you combining technical skills and practical expertise.
In order to optimise the permitting process any potential environmentally sensitive areas will be avoided where possible and the layout checked against any planning restrictions imposed by the permitting authorities.
